What does that acronym stand for and why is it important to our future?

E.S.D. = Enhanced Services District

A proactive partnership between Central Eastside property owners, business owners and residents with the City of Portland to create programs that will meet the challenges we are facing head on such as safety and clean streets. 

Based on successful programs like Downtown Clean & Safe and GoLloyd, an ESD is a nationally recognized approach to take control of our future.
