The 11th /12th /RR/LR/RT intersection is generating significant concern regarding the delays caused by the couplet’s at-grade crossing of the railroad and light rail line. The complicated intersection carries a district wide importance as the only arterial collector (and one of few streets) between Water Avenue and 21st that crosses the railroad line. A grade separated crossing will have significant impact on surrounding properties and be expensive. The presentation will provide the important background required for considered opinions.
