The Central Eastside Industrial Council is proud to kick off a four part Behind the Scenes Tour Series through a partnership with Portland Made. The Behind the Scenes Tours pull back the curtains on the most innovative manufacturing and entrepreneurship in Portland’s Central Eastside.

Tour 1: Explore one of the Central Eastside’s gems, Pratt & Larson Tile & Stone. Spark your creativity, meet potential collaborators, Central Eastside business owners and employees, and enjoy guided tours through the Pratt & Larson workshop with their showroom manager Arthur Moloian who will tell you about Pratt & Larson’s origins, evolution, and rise to success. Arthur has over 30 years of experience in the tile industry, including design, sales and product development. You’ll also be treated to demos so that you can learn about their process and see the magic of making show-stopping ceramic tiles in action. Three artisans will be on hand demonstrating mold-making and hand-painting processes.
