May 9 Meeting Highlights:
District Clean-Up Sunday, June 4th 9am-noon at Yale Union, 800 SE 10th
A partnership between SOLVE, CEIC’s Merchants & Makers, City of Portland’s Graffiti Abatement Team, and the City’s Neighborhood Watch Program. Food and Beverages provided (thanks to district food & drink businesses), and a member from City’s Business Watch program will be on hand to talk about trainings.
District Business Watches: Window clings are available for $2 and metal street signs for $25 (these will be strategically placed around the neighborhood. Let Bridgid know if you would like a window cling. If you would like individual training packets for neighboring businesses, you can order them from Mark Wells.
PDX Reporter App for Smart Phones: effective way to report crime, vandalism, etc…
CEIC Website & Map: The website will launch by June. The CEIC has obtained a grant to be able to offer CEIC members free listing on the map this year. The CEIC is sending out a memrship drive mailing to nearly 2,000 businesses.
