At its February meeting, the Central City 2035 Steering Committee reviewed the first section of the draft Concept Plan and discussed the Central City’s role in achieving the goals of the Portland Plan.
Members considered how the built environment can support livability, prosperity, education and equity. The Steering Committee also brainstormed “big leaps” for the Central City that will set Portland apart from other cities in 2035.
The next Steering Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, March 8. Once it is complete the Central City Concept Plan will be reviewed by the Planning and Sustainability Commission and City Council later this year.
