The CEIC’s purpose is to maintain the Central Eastside Industrial District as an industrial sanctuary, ensure it continues to be a major employment zone for the city of Portland, and to protect the rights of property owners and businesses in the district.

You’ll be amazed at how effective we are

If you own property or have your business located in the district, you understand that there are numerous city-related projects and issues that affect how you operate. Whether it’s tax increases, street realignment, the pending streetcar, parking, or what to do with nuisance crime, all can influence how you do business now and in the future. But let’s face it. You are simply too busy running your company to find the time to attend all the meetings that deal with these issues. That’s why we’re here.
