Manufacturer and Maker Supply Chain & Innovation Opportunities Conference

Prosper Portland and the Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Supply Chain & Innovation Enhancement Opportunities Conference. Our unique program format has been very effective at helping businesses:

1) identify new suppliers, 2) identify new customers, 3) develop new strategic partnerships, 4) build on innovative ideas, and 5) stimulate new innovative ideas.

Among the most powerful results for participants will be meeting 20- 30 new people, some of whom can help their business grow or help bring your ideas to fruition.

Program Format

Our format is the driver of program success. We conduct four 20-minute facilitated roundtables with eight businesses at each table. Each manufacturer briefly introduces their company and product, followed by a facilitated discussion focused exclusively on products, parts, business intelligence and strategy, and innovation. Each participant then transfers to another table and begins the process once again with a new group of business representatives. These roundtables are interspersed throughout the day between networking breaks and guest speaker presentations.

Guest Speakers

Another major factor that drives the success of our program is the expertise of participating guest speakers. We typically have company representatives as well as experts on lean/efficiency improvement, innovation, and business development. There will be two panels throughout the day between roundtables. We will have representatives from Autodesk, Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Schoolhouse Electric and Marcelino Alvarez from Uncorked Studios speaking at the conference.
