Networking with new businesses. Marketing the CEID. Setting up Get to Know Your Neighbor Tours. Recruiting new members. Socializing.

This is what you’ll be doing with us if you join this Committee. If you’re a new business to the area or your ‘territory’ includes the district; this is one place to really ramp up your business.

This Committee, meets at 2:00 on the third Monday of the month at Michaels Italian Sausage restaurant. The address is: 1111 SE Sandy Blvd Portland, OR 97214-1333 (503) 230-1899.

The committee is responsible for letting any and all businesses in the district know about the wonders that is the CEIC, and how it will benefit their business.

You’ll get to meet new people, help promote the district, generate ideas for (and possibly write) our newsletter and update our website. Stop by any meeting to find out if this is the Committee you’ve been looking for!

So you’re tired of the trespass campers in front of your building. You’ve had it with graffiti. And if you have to deal with another property or car vandalism, you’re moving. Well here’s the Committee for you.

Meeting the third Thursday of each month at 7:30AM at River East Center – 1515 SE Water Ave, 3rd Floor Mt. Adams Conference Room.

This Committee allows you to directly talk with the officers of the Central Precinct to find solutions to these problems – and more. You’ll also meet other CEIC property and business owners who are facing these obnoxious issues and discuss ideas and concepts to eliminate them.

Yeah we know – trying to get around this district is a hassle. Some business owners are having to drive around for over half-an-hour just to find a street open which will let them GET to work.

So at this Quarterly Meeting, we’re working on getting all the agencies and construction crews together to answer your questions and concerns about all their projects.

If you’ve been impacted by these projects (and who hasn’t?) you’ll want to attend this meeting. It’ll be at Madison’s on April 1st from 12:00 to 1:30 and lunch will be served. Bring some business cards as this is also a fantastic way to network with other CEIC businesses.

Get your team together for the CEIC 15th Annual Golf Tournament. Besides lots of prizes, the winning team has bragging rights and will hold the coveted Winner’s Trophy for the next year.

Whether you golf (or think you can) or can’t, this no stress, highly entertaining event is one of the best networking events we have.

So get your team together, tell everyone your are about to gain more business, and have a relaxing time with other CEIC businesses.

If you really aren’t a fan of hitting the ball, sponsor a hole and meet every golfer one on one!
