The Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee’s (TPAC) primary goal is to leverage the transportation and parking systems to assist, foster, and expand employment and business growth in the CEID.

Since 2012 the TPAC has added 2,592 permit parking stalls, improved customer parking, created policy allowing employee parking on adjacent private property, is offering promotional pricing for the Streetcar, helped fund a new bike/ped bridge over I-84, pursue a free bus loop system and through committee actions improve freight access, mobility, loading and unloading in the district.

Structured parking, Options for increasing off-street parking (stacked systems), Improved freight loading and unloading, Improved freight access and mobility, District shuttle bus loop (free or subsidized service), Improved Car Pool, Car Share options, Improved transit (better capacity/more frequent arrivals-shorter trips), Reduced transit passes, Better bike routes through the district, Improving Biketown options (free Biketown parking – subsidized membership), Making the streets clean and safe for pedestrians and bicyclists (adding security), Way- finding, street lighting, improved signage
