CEIC Member, SRM Architecture and Marketing is seeking a CEID property to analyze for green energy upgrades and adaptive reuse possibilities.
Our ideal property would:
- be at least a quarter block in size (10,000 + square feet)
- have minimal or no recent renovation work done to it.
- have an owner who is interested in potential adaptive reuse / renovation possibilities.
In exchange for letting our team have access to the building for a day, we will offer the building owner a report that would include:
- a preliminary study of the building’s architectural renovation and reuse potential
- a review of potential health and life safety improvements to the building
- a preliminary structural review of the building
- an energy audit and a digest of potential mechanical upgrades to the building, including green technologies as applicable
- a preliminary estimate of cost for the outlined improvements, including potential tax credit opportunities.
