On Saturday, August 8th, The Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation is bringing a new event to the district. The Bike for Sight Criterium is part of a full day of cycling activities that includes a family and kids ride, music, bike parade, and exhibitors.
The event will benefit the Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, a
leading statewide non-profit organization dedicated to providing life changing sight and hearing assistance.

The Business Development and Communications Committee, which meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 3:30 PM at National Builders Hardware (1019 SE 10th Ave), is responsible for letting any and all businesses in the district know about the wonders that is the CEIC, and how it will benefit their business. You’ll get to meet new people, help promote the district, generate ideas for (and possibly write) our newsletter and update our website. Meeting the third Thursday of each month at 7:30AM at the Eastbank Saloon and Restaurant (727 SE Grand), this Committee allows you to directly talk with the officers of the Southeast Precinct to find solutions to these problems – and more. You’ll also meet other CEIC property and business owners who are facing these obnoxious issues and discuss ideas and concepts to eliminate them.
