Need a reason to eat out? How about this…

Blitz Ladd restaurant has recently moved into the Central Eastside Industrial District. And in the spirit of goodwill, they are offering to help support JOIN (an organization that helps homeless people transition into a home) by donating 50% of their food proceeds to JOIN for every meal purchased on December 2nd from 5:00PM on.

Take your friends and family members out on December 2nd and experience a new dining location while helping JOIN. To learn more, check this out blitz-invite-2.

Do you know these things about Tri-Met?

Tri-Met works with employers to develop programs to encourage employees to take public transportation. They are easy to administer and are also a clear demonstration of your commitment to employee satisfaction and the livability of our region.

If you would like to learn more, visit here, or contact TriMet Employer Programs at 503-962-7670, email employerprograms@trimet.org.

New Tri-Met Tickets
In an effort to make Tri-Met’s tickets and passes easier to read, they are creating a new look. The new ticket layouts began appearing to the public in November. During the transition period, they will continue to accept the current narrow tickets as they are phased out of the system. They have not announced how long the “transition period” will be, but it should be quite a while. All fare instruments will be the size of a credit card.

To see the new tickets and passes, visit here.
