Transit and auto traffic will be affected as crews install new MAX tracks
Several TriMet bus lines will be detoured June 1-August 30 for MAX track construction on the Steel Bridge in downtown Portland. And starting June 10, the bridge will be closed to all auto traffic as well. Bicycle and pedestrian access will be maintained during construction. A CES stakeholder reported that the cast iron tree grates had been stolen from their property on SE Main.
PDC put in and paid for many of the tree grates now in the District and would like CEIC members to be aware of this latest misappropriation of property in the Central Eastside. If you have any information on this, please contact the Police Southeast Precinct at 503.823.2143.

The tournament is at Langdon Farms – 24377 NE Airport Road, in Aurora. Shotgun start will begin at 1:45pm, so arrive early to get some practice swings, putts and any other ‘preparation’ you might want to get in before the tournament starts.

The Day Labor Center Site, located at 240 NE MLK (corner of MLK and NE Everett) was scheduled to open on May 6th. Due to logistics issues, VOZ has decided to delay the opening of the site until June 16th.
